The short version
- It is a game. The dollars, shares and dividends are points and are worth nothing.
- You cannot pay to play and you cannot win money. There is nothing to cash out.
- We are not connected to the NFL or to any team or player.
- Play fair: one account, no bots, no exploiting bugs.
- It is a hobby project. It may break, and it may go away.
1. Agreeing to these terms
“We” is Fuzzy Sports, who runs the fuzzysports.com website and the games on it, including the Fuzzy Markets Football Exchange. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
2. Who may play
You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you are in the EEA or UK and under 16, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. You need a working email address, which is how you sign in, and you may hold one account only.
3. Your account
There is no password. Signing in means clicking a link we email to your address, so whoever can read your email can get into your account — keep it secure, and tell us at hello@fuzzysports.com if you think someone else has used yours. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You may delete it at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
4. There is no real money in this game
This is the most important thing on this page, so it is stated plainly:
- The dollars, share prices, cash balances, dividends and portfolio values in this game are points. They exist only inside the game, they have no monetary value, and they are not currency, credit, property or a security of any kind.
- You cannot buy them. There is no entry fee, no subscription, no purchase and no top-up. We do not accept payment for anything, and the site has no way to take one.
- You cannot cash them out. Nothing in this game can be redeemed, withdrawn, transferred to another person, sold, or exchanged for money, goods, cryptocurrency or anything else of value.
- Nothing here is a wager, an investment or financial advice. A “share” in a player is a scoring device, not a stake in anything. Nothing on this site is an offer, recommendation or advice about any real financial product, and it should not be used as a model for one.
- We may adjust, reset or remove in-game balances and holdings — for example to correct a bug, reverse an exploit, or start a new season. Because the points are worth nothing, doing so takes nothing from you.
5. We are not affiliated with the NFL
Fuzzy Sports is an independent hobby project. It is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the National Football League, the NFL Players Association, any NFL club, or any player. We use no NFL or club logos, wordmarks, uniforms or other insignia.
Player names, team names, schedules and statistics are used as factual information to run a fantasy game, which is what fantasy sports have always been built on. Any team or player name appearing here belongs to its respective owner and is used only to identify a real person or club.
6. Data, projections and results
Player statistics and schedules come from public sources, and the projections and prices are generated by our own model. All of it may be wrong, late or incomplete. Weekly settlement depends on statistics published by someone else, so it may be delayed. Once a week’s scores are settled we normally treat them as final and do not re-settle them if the underlying statistics are later corrected, because stable results matter more than perfect ones in a game.
We do not guarantee that any price, projection, standing or payout is accurate.
7. Playing fairly
You agree not to:
- hold more than one account, or play through someone else’s;
- use bots, scripts or automation to trade, or hammer the site with automated requests;
- exploit a bug, pricing error or loophole rather than reporting it — if you find one, please tell us at hello@fuzzysports.com;
- collude with other managers to manipulate prices or standings;
- attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or anyone’s account;
- scrape or republish the site’s content wholesale;
- harass other players, or choose a display name that is abusive, obscene or impersonates someone else.
8. Availability, and the fact that this is a hobby project
We will try to keep the game running and to settle each week on time, but we promise no uptime and no support. The site may be unavailable, may lose data, may have its season interrupted or abandoned, and may be shut down entirely at any time. We may change or remove features, and we may reset leagues between seasons. Since nothing here is worth money, none of this costs you anything but the game.
9. Suspending or closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, in particular section 7, and we may reverse trades or adjust balances obtained by exploiting a bug. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why. You may close your account whenever you like.
10. Our content
The site’s design, text, and the pricing and scoring model behind it are ours. You may use the site to play the game; you may not copy it wholesale or run it as your own service. The display name you choose stays yours — we only use it to show other managers who you are in the standings.
11. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any lost data, lost in-game balances, missed or delayed settlement, or interrupted seasons, arising out of your use of the site.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your country gives you that these terms cannot override.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. If a change is significant — and in particular if anything in section 4 ever changes — we will make that clear rather than quietly reposting the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of your local law.
